A special wine for a great moment. Produced from carefully selected hand-picked grapes. This wine is the result of the fermentation of the finest white grapes of the company. Fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and in new French oak barrels and then aged on fine lees.
A special wine for a great moment. Herdade Grande Reserve has its origin in old vineyards, which grapes were hand-picked during September and transferred to small stainless steel tanks with temperature control, between 25ºC-28ºC during the fermentation period. The whole wine was aged in American and French oak, during 10-12 months.
After crushing the grapes undergo a thermal shock followed by foot walking for four hours in granite wine press, the grape must is transferred to a small capacity of steel vats with temperature control. The grapes are vinified separately. Stage in barrels (60% new and 40% in the second year) of 225 liters, French oak.
